Cousin Eddy (combat version) from Twisted Metal: Head-On (PSP) for GTA San Andreas by Dark Watcher.

Summary

1. What is the mod?

2. How to install the mod?

3. Notes

1 WHAT IS THE MOD?

The mod is a conversion of Cousin Eddy from Twisted Metal: Head-On (PSP). Both the model and the texture are original, taken directly from the game.

2 HOW TO INSTALL THE MOD?

The process is as follows:

1. Open Alci's IMG Editor (or another Img edit program);

2. Open gta3.img (with the program mentioned above);

3. Click on "Import (remove if exists)";

4. Select "journey.dff" and "journey.txd" (my mod);

5. When both "journey.dff" and "journey.txd" are already inside gta3.img, click "Save".

The mod comes with a "handling.cfg" file which serves to increase the vehicle's performance and make it work similarly to what is seen in Twisted Metal: Head-On (PSP). To install such a file, just follow the steps described below:

1. Enter the "data" folder which is located in the directory (main folder) of your GTA San Andreas;

2. Delete the "handling.cfg" file or move it somewhere (if you want to keep it as a backup);

3. Extract the "handling.cfg" file that is in the "Import to data" folder (my mod);

4. Move the file "handling.cfg" to the folder "data" which is located in the directory (main folder) of your GTA San Andreas.

To ensure the vehicle wheels remain the standard size, place the "vehicles.ide" file into the "data" folder located in your GTA San Andreas directory. In short, the process is as follows:

1. Go to the "data" folder located in your GTA San Andreas directory (main folder);

2. Delete the "vehicles.ide" file or move it elsewhere (if you wish to keep it as a backup);

3. Extract the "vehicles.ide" file found in the "Import to data" folder (from my mod);

4. Move the "vehicles.ide" file into the "data" folder located in your GTA San Andreas directory (main folder).

If you have Mod Loader and do not want to replace the "vehicles.ide" and "handling.cfg" files, place the "Cousin Eddy" folder inside the "modloader" folder. This ensures the wheels are the correct size and the vehicle performs properly. In short, the process is as follows:

1. Extract the "Cousin Eddy" folder located within the "Import to modloader" folder (from my mod);

2. Move the "Cousin Eddy" folder to the "modloader" folder located in your GTA San Andreas directory (main folder).

3 NOTES

The 3D model is the combat version, that is, the 3D model displayed during combat in singleplayer and multiplayer matches. It should be noted that "combat version" is just a generic designation that I am using to refer to the 3D models that appear during the aforementioned matches, mainly aiming to clarify the nature of the 3D model in question. In almost all cases, the combat versions of the 3D models have less detail than the 3D models displayed in the selection menu. However, the combat versions are easier to convert to GTA SA.

The vehicle replaces the Journey.

The vehicle's performance has been improved to resemble the performance seen in Twisted Metal: Head-On.

The headlights and taillights work.

The model has realistic collision.

Originally, in Twisted Metal: Head-On, Cousin Eddy's missile guns can fire missiles. Obviously, in GTA San Andreas, this and other weapons and abilities are not usable.

I would like to thank you for downloading my mod. If you are a fan of Twisted Metal: Head-On or have already played it, i hope you have fun and relive nostalgic moments of the game. If you are not a fan or have not yet played, in the same way, i hope you have fun with this addition to your GTA SA, causing chaos and among other things hehe.

If you have any questions, suggestions or comments about this or other mods of mine, please comment in the comments section on the page where you downloaded this mod or send me a private message (on GTAinside); i will be happy to answer. If you wish, too, rate the mod on the site.

Best regards,
Dark Watcher.
